Meet Chantel

Chantel’s a leadership coach, marketing executive, entrepreneur, outdoor enthusiast, and a wife and mother. That’s her great life adventure. Now she’s ready to help you with yours.

Get guidance and insight
from someone who knows of what she speaks.

Chantel founded her coaching business to help purpose-driven entrepreneurs and mid-career leaders make powerful impacts professionally, without sacrificing their personal lives. That’s a huge challenge for even the most capable people, and Chantel can help those who are struggling or who just want to level up.

Chantel has completed her Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) certification, and her Associate Certified Coach (ACC) designation with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She’s also a graduate of the Human Venture Institute’s Community Leadership program. And maybe just as important as all that– she brings a rare mix of kindness and empathy, a fierce, passionate commitment and, refreshingly, no tolerance for bullshit. If you’re ready to take big steps towards the life and career you want, Chantel is your ideal guide.

From startups to enterprises to agency: Chantel’s a preeminent marketer.

Chantel built her career in marketing, with senior roles at large organizations (Procter & Gamble, Intuit Canada, Star Choice Communications) as well as smaller startups and marketing agencies (Kryos, Karo Group, Venture Communications). She’s launched products, built brands, helped organizations scale, and become a trusted confidante, leader and coach to untold numbers of her colleagues. Now she’s supporting the next generation of tech leaders and marketing professionals in her coaching and advisory work.

A battle-tested entrepreneur who knows how to build something from nothing.

For the last decade, Chantel has been a Co-Owner and Partner at one of western Canada’s most prestigious technology marketing firms, Material Insight. She’s worked with over two dozen technology companies, guiding them from early-stage struggles to serious scale and growth. Maybe just as importantly, she gets what it means to be an entrepreneur, especially those days when you’re overwhelmed with opportunity, but everything’s broken, and you’re building something incredible, but you’re on the verge of burnout. If any of this rings a bell, Chantel can help you navigate the entrepreneurial waters.

An outdoor adventurer
with a family (and puppy) in tow

Chantel believes you need to find time for your family and your passions as well as your work. That’s why you’ll often find her away from her computer hiking and camping in the Canadian Rockies, teeing off on a golf course, or just taking long bike rides with her kids Max and Sam. She and her husband, James, have built a lifestyle that works with both their careers and still has room for things like their new cavapoo puppy, Penny, and relaxed weekends baking, reading, or entertaining family and friends. Work-life balance (or integration) is tricky and often imperfect but Chantel can help you find a path that works for you.
